This Aston Villa team has shocked many people this season and they do have a couple of areas that need strengthening mainly the defence (left and right back) and bring in another striker. If they could only sign one player the person they should target is Brentford striker Ivan Toney, he was signed by Brentford to replace Ollie Watkins and will be the perfect back up striker for Villa if Watkins was to pick up a injury. Toney has 16 goals and 4 assist in the championship this season and is ready for the step up to the premiership.

The one player that Villa should sell is Bjorn Engels, he is yet to make a first team appearance this season and has only made the bench 7 times. He is 26 and after the injuries he has had this season can not be trusted long term for Villa. He is on 55k a week and is one of the top earners at the club.
