New year means one thing, the start of the transfer window! Let’s see what one player each premiership team should buy and sell in help them improve. Today we start with Arsenal!

Arsenal need a new Centre Midfielder, the easy popular choice here would be Houssem Aouar from Lyon who has 3 goals and 4 assists so far this season, the player I would sign would be the player Sporting Lisbon signed to replace Bruno Fernandes in August Pedro Goncalves. He has 10 goals in 11 games in the Primeira Liga this season aswell as one assist. He is also able to play further forward as a number 10 or wide on the left. He is also 22 year old so will only improve in the future and knows English football as he was a player within Wolves youth team and I see this as a low risk high reward signing for Arsenal.

One player who Arsenal fans all want out of the club is Granit Xhaka, he has scored once so far this season and created no assist. He has made 14 interceptions and has won 50% of his tackles. He will not generate a massive transfer fee but his 100k a week wages off the books will help Arsenal build for the future.
