Are Spurs the biggest bottle job club going?

Well well well Spurs have done it again. Got themselves in prime position for a well deserved win and thrown it all away in the last 10 minutes. They dominated the game for 80 minutes and West Ham still managed to steal a draw. We will have a look other times Spurs have blown it big time.

Lasagna Gate!

7th of May 2006, Spurs are about to qualify for the Champions league over arch rivals Arsenal. The evening before they sit down for the team meal at the hotel and have a beautiful Lasagna then all hell breaks loose. First team players are up all night, face in toilet bowls not nothing what end it is going to come out of. 10 first team players had food poisoning symptoms and the team would then go on to lose 2-1 to West Ham and miss out on the Champions League for another season.

Champions League Final 2019

Spurs had done the impossible in the Semi Final against Ajax, then went onto face Liverpool in the final. To start with the team selection was completely wrong, they started Harry Kane who hadn’t played since April in place of Lucas who scored a Hat Trick against Ajax. Then within 2 minutes they went and gave away a penalty when Sissoko tried to catch the ball and from there it all went all downhill and Liverpool went on to lift the trophy.

Spurs Vs Manchester United 2001

Yes this was when Spurs were very poor but they went 3-0 up at half time and that should always be enough to win a game. This was not the case, United went in at half time and Alex Ferguson ripped them apart and shoved a rod up his players arse and completely changed the second half. United then went on to win 5-3 and this is the first game I remember as a Spurs bottle job.
