Sergio has been an ever present and has seen many class midfielders play alongside him such as iniesta, Xavi, Fabregas, And more recently De Jong. With these superstars it’s easy for the now 32 year old, to be overshadowed. However with 6x la liga, 4x Copa Del Ray, 4x Spanish super cup, 3x UEFA super cup, European and World Cup titles. The 23 honours speak for themselves.

Similarly to Busquets the Frenchman has always played second fiddle when it comes to the media attention and fan plaudits. With CR7, Gareth Bale, Di Maria, Eden Hazard all at Real Madrid at the same time as the deadly striker it’s hard to realise how clinical he actually is. In 354 game he’s amounted collected and impressive 243 goals making he Los Blancos 5th all time record goal scorer! Seemingly being banished from the national side after a “blackmail” case with a fellow teammate has hindered his national career but nonetheless he’s still an amazing prolific striker and one of the most silently deadly players in today’s game. Considering when speaking about current world best GK’s the same names; neuer, Oblak, Allison, all seem mention regularly. However, Polish born Szczesny has managed to hold down the #1 jersey at 3 different top European sides in Arsenal, Roma and now Juventus. After impressing at Arsenal and winning the golden glove in 2013-14, he seals a loan deal to Italian giants Roma in 2015/16 keeping none other than current champions league winning GK Allisson Becker on the bench! Impressing so much he gained a move to Juventus where he then benched the legendary Buffon! Winning the Italian golden glove along the way. Quiet the compliment for managers to show faith with such strong opposition ahead of him!

David Alaba has had a seeming exciting career however not many fans realise just how decorated the Austrians trophy cabinet actually looks! Having secured a move to Bayern Munich in 2008 Alaba failed to make the first team squad for 2 of his first 3 seasons at the Allianz spending 1 season with Bayern II and a loan spell at hoffenheim. But once he made his break in Bayern’s squad it’s been nothing but success. Having played LB for the majority of his career with brief spells at LM he now finds himself in the Centre Back role and looks very strong there. Very shiny trophy cabinet includes; 1x Club World Cup, 2x UEFA super cups, 3x DFL Supercup, 6x DFB-Pokal cups, 2x Champions League, and a whopping 9x Bundesliga titles! 7 of which in successive seasons!

PEDRO RODRIGUEZ

Pedro began his career in Barcelona’s C team! Not making a regular first team spot for himself for 4 years at the Catalans. Since then it’s been … pretty good I guess for the Spaniard. Having played for Barcelona, Chelsea and now currently Roma he hardly lacks quality in order to peak the eyes of these kinds of teams.
