Another 4 games are on today and here are my takes and who I think will win
Sheffield United Vs Fulham
Can this be a regelation 6 pointer this early in the season? Both of these teams have been dog shit this season. Sheffield United have new Striker Rhian Brewster available after his transfer from Liverpool, if he starts I think he will be able to trouble the Fulham defence.
I don’t think a plumber would be able to fix this leaky Fulham defence, they are without new signings Joachim Andersen and Kenny Tete which adds to their woes. They will be hoping to lean on star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to score against Sheffield United who have conceded 1.5 goals a game so far this season.
I can’t see pass Sheffield United here, Fulham have been woeful this season and I do not see that changing.
Crystal Palace Vs Brighton
Both of these team are coming of the back of two defeats before the international break, Crystal Palace will be boosted by the signing of Keeper Jack Butland and right back Nathaniel Clyne but he is doubtful to feature along with keeper Wayne Hennessey and James McCarthy. Palace will be hopefully Wilf Zaha can add to his 3 goals so far this season against a Brighton defence who have conceded 10 goals already this season.
Brighton are unlucky to be sitting in 16th, they were the better team against Manchester United and was the very good in spells against Everton. Tariq Lamptey and Neal Maupay have been bright sparks so far this season and will be hoping to build on this to climb away from the relegation zone.
I see goals in this game, I will be putting my money on Over 1.5 goals in this game. Both teams have conceded more than that per game this season.
Spurs Vs West Ham
Both teams are on cloud 9 after their results before the break, Spurs run riot at Old Trafford and West Ham made Leicester look like a Sunday league team. Eric Dier is a doubt for this game and Gareth Bale is a game time decision on if he will start. Harry Kane and Son Heung Min have been on fire to start the season with 9 goals and 7 assists between the two of them.
West Ham have played very well for the last two games, but David Moyes returns to the touch line after recovering from COVID 19 so expect them to lose. New signing Craig Dawson is expected to feature and the Hammers fans will be hoping Said Benrahma will hit the ground running and show the same form he showed at Brentford last season.
I can see both teams scoring in this game, Spurs are yet to keep a clean sheet this season but they should have the quality to beat West Ham.
Leicester Vs Aston Villa
A game of two teams that love to score goals, both clubs are averaging over 3 goals per game so far this season. Leicester are coming off the back of a defeat at West Ham, they will be without key defender Caglar Soyuncu but key signing Wesley Fofana is set to debut in his place. Both star players James Maddison and Jamie Vardy are 50/50 and will be game time decisions.
Aston Villa have shocked everyone so far this season, unbeaten and sitting 3rd in the table. Jack Grealish and Ollie Watkins will be the keys to victory today and hopeful will be able to carry on their form.
As much as Villa have been great this season, I see this coming to an end here today, Leicester will be looking to put the embarrassment to West Ham behind them and take this out on Villa.
My Punt of the day is Harry Kane, Wilf Zaha and Ollie Watkins all to score at anytime, currently priced at 18/1 on Sky Bet.
